This is my close family friend, Patrick. He’s been waiting for a new heart for over 15 months. Yesterday, he finally received one. He’s doing well, but having some complications. His heart is swollen, and because his kidneys are failing, he might need to go on a machine to assist them. Patrick and his family need good energy and kind thoughts - and help paying for the costly post-transplant care that isn’t covered by insurance.
